ST KILDA picked up no new injuries on the weekend, although Jack Billings will miss at least the next month after further scans on his injured shin.

Although Billings is set for a spell on the sidelines, Head physiotherapist Andrew Wallis reiterated that the left-footer isn’t suffering from a stress fracture - rather a stress response - which they will treat with caution.

“We are just going to take our time with Jack,” Wallis told SAINTS.com.au

“He’ll miss 4-6 weeks but we will see how he progresses through.”

Billings has played 25 games since debuting in round one, 2014.

In better news, Blake Acres could return as early as next week after undergoing surgery on his broken hand.

“Blake has progressed really well and has his cast off already,” Wallis said.

“We’ll see how he goes with skills so we will list him as 1-2 weeks, but hopefully it is just the one game. It will just be about how he can catch and hold the ball.”

Acres has played five senior games this year, in addition to three in 2014.
