Where: Trevor Barker Beach Oval

When: Sunday, 9 August

Time: 1pm

Entry: Free for St Kilda members

Last week:

Sandringham had the VFL bye last weekend.

Comparatively, Port Melbourne had a shock 35-point loss to the Coburg Lions at North Port oval.

Players to watch:

Sandringham – Josh Saunders

Saunders played an important role against Richmond before the bye, accumulating 19 disposals and kicking a goal. Fresh from the week off, expect Saunders to utilise his pace and ball winning ability at Trevor Barker Beach oval on Sunday. A big game from him will go a long way to ensuring a victory for the Zebras.

Port Melbourne – Toby Pinwill

Pinwill is a player the Zebras will need to nullify, given his ability to impact games in the midfield. Likely to go head to head with Clinton Jones, Pinwill gathered 29 disposals and six tackles in their loss to Coburg last week.

Conditions:

Trevor Barker Beach Oval is a long ground with lots of space on the wings to be taken advantage of, particularly in perfect conditions. The weather is forecast to be partly cloudly with a top of 14 degrees.

St Kilda players in the squad:

Acres, Delaney, Holmes, Lee, Markworth, McKenzie, Membrey, Minchington, Murdoch, Pierce, Payne, Ray, Ross, Saunders, Saad, Simpkin, Siposs, Templeton, White, Wright.

Notable opposition players:
