Essendon key defender Jake Carlisle has selected St Kilda as his preferred new home.
Carlisle confirmed the decision this morning on AFL Trade Radio.
“It’s good news that Jake has announced he wishes to be traded to the Saints,” St Kilda Chief Operating Officer Ameet Bains said.
“We are obviously delighted with this outcome and will now seek to execute a trade with Essendon, once the trade period commences on Monday.”
Carlisle has played 85 games for Essendon since debuting in 2010.
