St Kilda Football Club and Maddie Riewoldt's Vision are pleased to announce that St Kilda and Richmond will take part in the third match dedicated to the memory of Nick Riewoldt's sister Maddie in Round 16, 2017.

The game will raise money to find a cure for aplastic anaemia, which tragically claimed Maddie's life in 2015.

The inaugural Maddie's Match was played between the Saints and Tigers in Round 16, 2015, with Nick's 300th milestone match in Round 2, 2016 proudly supported by Maddie's Riewoldt's Vision.

St Kilda CEO Matt Finnis said the club and its fans were proud to continue to support Nick, the Riewoldt family and Maddie's memory by being involved in the special game.

“Maddie’s Match has become an important event on the Saints calendar and we’re thrilled that St Kilda and Richmond, assisted by Nick and Jack Riewoldt, will be able to share the game again in support of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision,” Finnis said.

"We look forward to working with MRV, Richmond and all footy fans to support the cause that had touched so many in the community," Finnis said.

MRV Chairman Jarrod Nation said he was pleased that Maddie's legacy would be celebrated between such well respected teams in St Kilda and Richmond.

"Maddie's Vision and the Riewoldt family is delighted that we can continue building on the success of the inaugural Maddie's match in 2015," he said.

"The Vision is thrilled to have the continued support of the AFL, St Kilda and Richmond football clubs and can't wait for another highly successful Maddie's Match in 2017," Nation said.

St Kilda and Richmond Football Clubs, along with MRV will communicate fundraising activities in the lead-up to the match in 2017.
