In a scrappy, ugly affair last Friday night, St Kilda midfielder Seb Ross was the shining light against North Melbourne and has been duly recognised with a berth in AFL Media’s Round 13 team.
Ross has produced a stunning season to date, averaging the 7th most disposals (30.8) in the AFL, and continues to emerge as one of the most improved players in the game.
The 24-year-old earned a full complement of votes from Alan Richardson and Brad Scott, with the 10 votes pushing him back into the top ten of the Coaches award after 13 rounds.

At Etihad Stadium on Friday night, Ross played a pivotal role in helping St Kilda overcome a form slump.
The North Ballarat product collected 32 disposals – his 9th consecutive haul of 30 or more – 11 contested possessions, 59.5 pressure points – the most on the ground – six tackles and five clearances.
Ross was named on the interchange bench alongside last year’s Brownlow medallist Patrick Dangerfield, Sydney captain Josh Kennedy and Richmond playmaker Bachar Houli.
