It might have only been AFLX last weekend, but footy is finally back.

With the JLT Community Series kicking off this weekend, the real stuff is almost within touching distance.

Ahead of St Kilda’s season opener against Brisbane on March 24, saints.com.au wants you to look into the crystal ball and predict what’s going to happen this winter.

Take the 2018 Saints Fan Survey here.

Who will win the Trevor Barker Award? Will someone breakthrough to earn All-Australian selection? Who will make the biggest impact on the scoreboard? Which young gun will bolt from the blocks fastest?

This time last year, Seb Ross and Dylan Roberton had laid the foundations to take their games to the next level in 2017. And that’s exactly what they did.

Ross won the Trevor Barker Award, Roberton finished runner-up and the pair were included in the All-Australian squad for the first time.

Can they rise to another level this season and break into that final 22? Can Jack Steven rediscover his blistering best, challenge for a fourth best and fairest and finally earn All-Australian selection after being included in the squad twice?

Mobile key forward Tim Membrey has led the Saints’ goal kicking in each of the past two seasons, after Josh Bruce kicked the most in 2015.

Will it come down to those two in 2018 or will emerging key forward Paddy McCartin blossom? What about classy small forwards Jack Billings and Jade Gresham?

Along with Ross and Roberton, Billings was one of the most improved players at Linen House Centre last year, playing every game to finish 5th in the Trevor Barker Award.

Who will make the biggest rise this year? Can Blake Acres, Luke Dunstan or Jack Steele reach a new level? Or will the biggest improvement come from younger players like Josh Battle or Ben Long?

With only 32 days remaining between now and St Kilda’s first game of the new season, the time is now to have your say.
