Alan Richardson has added David Armitage, Hunter Clark, Rowan Marshall, Josh Battle and Ben Paton to St Kilda’s 26-man squad to face the Demons at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Dylan Roberton faces a three-month stint on the sidelines

After two prolific performances in the VFL for Sandringham, Armitage looks primed to return to the senior side this weekend.

The big-bodied midfielder racked up 67 touches in two weeks, and his composure and aggression at the ball could prove pivotal against a Demons outfit that prides itself on its physicality at the coalface.

Meanwhile, young guns Hunter Clark, Rowan Marshall Josh Battle and Ben Paton will each be looking to break into the squad of 22, as they look to build on their experience at the elite level and stake their claims for more consistent senior selection.

Blake Acres is being managed and will miss the Round 7 clash.

The final 22 will be announced on Friday.
