ST KILDA has named its 46-man squad for Saturday morning's intra club match.

There will be a host of new faces taking the field, with number one draft pick Paddy McCartin the headline act following his first pre-season at the club.

Fellow newcomers Hugh Goddard, Tim Membrey, Jack Lonie, Jack Sinclair and Brenton Payne will all pull on the Saints jumper for the first time.

Due to injury and load management, a number of Sandringham Zebras, including ex-St Kilda forward Trent Dennis-Lane, will also play.

Saturday will also be a good chance for Saints fans to catch a glimpse of International Scholarship holder Joe Baker-Thomas and American rookie Jason Holmes. Both have remained injury free over the summer and have been working closely with Simon McPhee and his development coaches.

Eli Templeton will play his first game in 10 months, while Ahmed Saad will don the red, white and black for the first time since August, 2013.

Alan Richardson said he was looking forward to the contest in what is expected to be warm conditions at Linen House Centre.

"Tomorrow will be a great chance for our players to show how far they've come this pre-season," Richardson told SAINTS.com.au.

"As a collective group we've worked exceptionally hard since October and I have no doubt the guys will give a good account of themselves tomorrow.

"Although the game format is abbreviated, I expect the standard to be high and the tempo to be fierce. In particular it will be a great chance to see what our new players have to offer."

There will be a variety of fan engagement activities around the oval on Saturday morning and members are advised to bring their 2015 membership cards to gain access to the Dare Iced Coffee Members Zone.

Kids activities will run from 10-11 behind the goals, while refreshments will be available in the form of coffee, ice cream and a sausage sizzle.

Supporters can follow the game on social media. A  match report will be posted on SAINTS.com.au on Saturday afternoon.
