Sandringham senior coach and St Kilda development coach Paul Hudson runs a ruler over the individual performance of the Saints-listed players following Sunday's win.
MATCH REPORT: Membrey boots four as Zebras continue climb
Luke Delaney
Luke played down back for most of the game until we chucked him forward in the last quarter. He ended up kicking a goal and had about 20 possessions which was an excellent return. He took a couple of really imposing marks.
Tom Simpkin
Tom was pretty good on the weekend in defence. He dropped off at the right times and helped out offensively as well as defensively.
Ahmed Saad
Ahmed had three shots on goal and although he didn’t take his chances, he was lively all afternoon and looked dangerous.
Eli Templeton
Eli unfortunately hurt his hamstring during the second quarter. He was playing a midfield/forward role really well, so it was unfortunate to see him go down.
VFL STATS: Round 18
Brenton Payne
We lost Brenton very early in the game due to an ankle injury. We’ll have more news on him later this week but we hope he’s ok.
Tim Membrey
Tim was outstanding again. Not only did he kick five goals, but he worked exceptionally hard defensively and also created a contest – even when he was outnumbered. He uses his body and doesn’t go to ground. It was a really good game.
Cameron Shenton
Cam had a good game across half-back. He used his legs really well and pumped the ball inside 50 a few times.
Daniel Markworth
Daniel had six disposals in the first quarter and then dropped away a touch after quarter-time. He broke the lines early and we got some scores from his run early in the match.
Brodie Murdoch
Brodie had a decent game. He kicked a love goal from about 50 metres out late in the match that showed how penetrating his foot skills are. He played on the ball most of the game.
Arryn Siposs
Arryn had a pretty good outing. His disposal was a touch sloppy on a couple of occasions but we know he’s a beautiful long kick so he will undoubtedly work hard this week on that aspect of his game.

Lewis Pierce
Lewis did not have a lot of the ball but he created good contests and competed well in the ruck.
Jason Holmes
Jason spent more time forward and looked quite dangerous. He kicked 1.2 and was an imposing figure. It was the best I’ve seen him lead and take his marks playing as a forward.
Adam Schneider
Adam played an important role for us on Sunday. He played in the midfield and spent a bit of time up forward.
Farren Ray
Farren was terrific. His attitude when he comes back is always good and the weekend was no exception. When we had injuries early, we had to shuffle things and Farren was more than happy to play multiple positions. He had about 30 disposals and showed great leadership.
DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE
Spencer White
Spencer booted 3.5 in a huge win. He took a couple of really nice marks and it would have been even better had he kicked straight.
Joe Baker-Thomas
Joe did well in defence and got a bit of the ball which was great to see.
