St Kilda is another step closer towards Season 7 with the fixture for Rounds 1-9 consolidated by the AFL this morning.

The Saints will face expansion sides Sydney and Hawthorn away from home in its opening two rounds of the season commencing Saturday August 27, before returning to RSEA Park for a Sunday afternoon fixture with Melbourne in Round 3.

Round 3 will coincide with this season’s AFLW Indigenous Round, which will be spread across two weeks, while the Toyota Good For Footy and AFLW Pride Rounds to be held in Rounds 6 and 8 respectively.

Nick Dal Santo's side will then head to Mackay and Geelong to take on the Suns and Cats respectively before playing four of its last five matches at RSEA Park.

Round 7 with Carlton will mark the first under-lights match at RSEA Park since Round 4, 2021, while matches against Collingwood, Port Adelaide and Adelaide at Moorabbin will also feature as part of Season 7.

At least five of the Saints’ matches will be broadcast live and free on Channel 7, with the fixture and broadcast details for Round 10 against Adelaide to be finalised at a later date.

St Kilda will travel interstate twice (Round 1 v Sydney, Round 4 v Gold Coast) plus head to Geelong and Ballarat in Rounds 5 and 8 respectively. Three of the club’s games will also be held against expansion sides.

“We have a big task ahead of us this coming August, but it’s one we are ready to tackle head-on,” Head of AFLW Tessie McManus said.

“Four games away from home, two of which are interstate, to open the season will be a challenge we will embrace before heading back home to RSEA Park in the second half of the year.

“We hope to see as many Saints members and fans at our home ground for what we hope will be an exciting close to the season and we look forward to everything Season 7 throws our way.”

Membership details for Season 7 will be communicated shortly.
