St Kilda midfield dynamo Jaimee Lambert has capped off a stunning debut season at the club with a spot in the 2023 AFLW All-Australian Squad.

The 31-year-old led a young midfield group with brute force, averaging 19 touches, six tackles, five clearances and kicking a career-high six goals.

The midfielder polled the most votes of any Saint (41) in the AFL Coaches' Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award, receiving recognition in seven of her 10 appearances.

It's the sixth time Lambert has been included in the AFLW All-Australian Squad, having made the final team on two occasions (2020 and 2022).

The squad of 44 will be trimmed to a team of 21, announced on Monday 27 November at the W Awards.

The All-Australian Panel consists of Nicole Livingstone (Chair), Andrew Dillon, Laura Kane, Jason Bennett, Kelli Underwood, Sarah Black, Katie Loynes, Narelle Smith and Megan Waters.
