Star Saint Jack Steele will slot straight back in to the St Kilda line-up in the annual Maddie’s Match on Sunday.

The midfield bull dislocated his kneecap at training last fortnight, but his speedy recovery has seen an immediate recall to Alan Richardson’s side.

Steele is among four inclusions for Sunday’s must-win clash with Richmond, with Ben Paton, Nick Coffield and Ben Long also named in the team.

The three youngsters have shown strong form in the VFL, and each will be determined to make an impact against the Tigers.

The Saints have unfortunately been dealt another injury blow, this time to new recruit Dean Kent.

The former Demon sustained an injury to his left quad during Thursday’s training session, which will see him miss the remainder of the season.

The fourth iteration of Maddie’s Match between the Saints and the Tigers will kick off at 1.10pm at Marvel Stadium this Sunday.
