Moorabbin Airport ‘All Nations’ program

The Moorabbin Airport ‘All Nations’ program engages with youth in schools that sit within proximity of the St Kilda Football Club and Moorabbin Airport.

The vision for the program in this culturally diverse area is to encourage physical activity, and provide access to personal development skills and real life opportunities for young people to thrive. 

There are 4 aspects to the program:

  1. All Nations Schools Program

An ‘introduction to AFL’ program run in culturally and linguistically diverse

(CALD) primary and secondary schools in surrounding suburbs of Moorabbin Airport 

  1. All Nations Development Hub

The All Nations Development Hub is an inclusive program for youth aged 12-16 living in

CALD regions surrounding the Moorabbin airport aimed to build on football and life skills

  1. All Nations Scholarship

Open to culturally diverse young people residing in Melbourne’s Southern region 

  • 10-15 participants selected from the All Nations hub
  • Off-field personal development sessions
  • On-field football fundamentals, fitness testing, reviews 
  1. All Nations Traineeship

A collaborative initiative between Moorabbin Airport, the Saints and AFL SportsReady to provide an annual Multicultural traineeship placement at St Kilda Football Club.

Next Generation Sudanese Homework Club

The Sudanese Homework Club is a Frankston initiative which involves student mentors from local secondary schools working with Sudanese youth, many of whom are new Australians.

Students are able to connect with the Sudanese community through fun and engaging footy sessions delivered by the Saints. 

Saints Multicultural Ambassadors

The Saints multicultural ambassadors act as conduits between the Saints and their respective communities.

Activities include hosting multicultural groups at games, conducting clinics and assisting with Saints events within their community networks.
