Josh Battle will make his much-anticipated return to the senior line-up this Saturday against Richmond for the fifth iteration of Maddie’s Match.

The 21-year-old will be the only inclusion for this week’s significant outing, with Nicholas Hind making way for the St Kilda swingman.

Dean Kent, Ed Phillips, Daniel McKenzie and Jack Sinclair have been named as emergencies.

Skipper Jarryn Geary will sit on the sidelines for a further week as he reaches full fitness following a minor hamstring strain incurred in Round 2.

The Saints will wear purple socks in honour of the late Maddie Riewoldt and incredible work of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision in the hopes of raising awareness and finding a cure for bone marrow failure syndromes (BMFS).

St Kilda will look to secure its second win of 2020 against Richmond on Saturday, 27 June at Marvel Stadium, with the opening bounce set for 4:35pm.
