St Kilda will be without injured pair Rebecca Ott and Molly McDonald for Saturday’s match against Gold Coast, while Clara Fitzpatrick will also miss for personal reasons.

Ott strained her calf just prior to three-quarter time against Narrm and is expected to face three weeks on the sidelines. It will be the first time the defensive mainstay has missed a game while under senior coach Nick Dal Santo.

McDonald suffered a concussion in the final minute of Sunday’s game following a tackle from Tayla Harris, which saw the latter suspended for one week. The 21-year-old will observe the league’s concussion protocols for a minimum of 12 days, also ruling her out for next Thursday’s match against Geelong.

Meanwhile, Grace Kelly will spend an additional fortnight in recovery after injuring her Achilles, as will Tyanna Smith as her rehabilitation from an ACL injury continues.

Jayde Van Dyk will also consult doctors in the coming weeks to determine a date for her own ACL surgery.
