After almost two years out of the game following a shocking heart scare, Dylan Roberton made his miraculous return in the opening round of Season 2020.

The star defender was also voted into the Saints' leadership group for 2020, even after his lengthy on-field absence.

After marking his landmark return against North Melbourne, Roberton is currently looking to break back into the senior side as he gets time under his belt in the Saints' scratch matches.

The experienced defender has spent time on the wings in the defender-heavy reserves line-up, but has shown incredible resilience and sublime leadership to the younger brigade during the challenging period.

In early 2021 following a two-month hiatus from football, Roberton ultimately made the decision to retire to put his family and future first.

Roberton was originally selected by Fremantle with pick No. 49 in the 2009 National Draft, before making his way to St Kilda at the end of 2012.
