After returning to her native Victoria after two seasons at Brisbane, the unflinching Nat Exon led by example in her new colours.
Exon threw her body on the line and piled on the pressure to top St Kilda’s total tackle count for the year, with an eight-tackle effort against the Blues – her first side – one of her best for the year.
Coupled with her quick bursts out of stoppages, strength from contest-to-contest and ability to slot seamlessly into any position, the gritty Saint continued to stand tall and be a player to look up to as the club's inaugural season progressed.
Her experience at the elite level also saw the seasoned campaigner join St Kilda's extended leadership group and finish runner-up at the club's inaugural Best & Fairest count.
