Back with W-League side Melbourne Victory, Jacqui Vogt was used to stopping goals. Now as a Saint, she’s getting used to kicking them.
The Southern Saints graduate was brought on as a train-on player in the club’s inaugural season, but had to wait another season for her next taste of footy due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vogt finally got her shot after being drafted ahead of Season 2021, missing just one game after breaking her finger in Round 5 against Adelaide.
Strong in the air, smart in her positioning and handy in front of the big sticks, the tall forward is set to continue the promising partnership inside-50 alongside keys Kate Shierlaw and Caitlin Greiser.
