St Kilda Football Club is proud to announce a game-changing partnership with the global leader in food delivery – Deliveroo.

The internationally renowned brand will become one of the club’s two co-principal partners for an extended undisclosed term, supporting both the Saints’ men’s and women’s teams.

The iconic Deliveroo Roo will feature on the front of the men’s jumpers and on the back of the women’s jumpers as St Kilda’s inaugural AFLW side takes the field for the first time.

The Deliveroo partnership will also deliver favourite son Nick Riewoldt back to the Saints.

SAINTS TAKE SHAPE FOR 2020: Jarryd Roughead joins St Kilda

The 336-game champion will take on an official ambassador role, charged with galvanizing every St Kilda supporter at a crucial time in the club’s history.

Riewoldt is determined to inspire the thousands of St Kilda supporters out there to throw their support behind the club and power the membership tally beyond 50,000.

“Having a brand like Deliveroo partner with the club is incredibly exciting and will give us a huge boost ahead of the 2020 season.” Riewoldt said.

“It’s been so great to see the development in our young players with guys like Rowan Marshall, Hunter Clark and Josh Battle joining Jade Gresham, Seb Ross and Jack Billings in shaping the future of the club.

“We will soon have a new coach appointed, potentially some high quality talent coming through the trade period, and as fans, we have an absolutely vital role to play.

“These young guys need to feel embraced, just as I was at the start of my career. It’s because of our supporters that I will be a St Kilda person for life.

“If we want to compete year in and year out, then the Saints need to hit 50,000 members. I’m already leading that charge with all the family signed up and I want every supporter to do the same.” - Nick Riewoldt.

Greg Ellis, Strategic Advisor at Deliveroo Australia said:

“Becoming St Kilda’s official delivery partner made perfect sense, as we strive to be Australia's definitive food company.

“We’re confident the fans will approve of our first delivery: bringing Roo back home to the Saints.” - Greg Ellis.

“Deliveroo is honoured to fuel both St Kilda’s men’s and women’s team as they continue to deliver wins for the club.“

CEO Matt Finnis said:

“The support of Deliveroo and Nick Riewoldt is game-changing for the club.

“Deliveroo is an iconic global brand at the forefront of innovation and customer service and we are thrilled to welcome them as a co-principal partner.

“It’s exciting to have an organisation of their strength backing the Saints and that the support extends beyond our men’s team to also encompass our new AFLW side." - Matt Finnis.

“This partnership provides a really strong platform to achieve on-field success.”

“Nick’s commitment demonstrates that everyone who loves the club has a role in our mission to win a second premiership.

“From the board, to the coaches, players and supporters, we need to raise the bar and turn the Saints from a sleeping giant into a powerhouse.”

In further positive news, long-time partner Dare Iced Coffee will remain with the Saints as a key sponsor, with details of their new arrangement to be announced in the coming weeks.
