GAME DAYS:

How will patrons arrive at RSEA Park?

  • Patrons are encouraged to catch public transport to the matches. Moorabbin Station is on the Frankston line and is a short, twelve minute walk from RSEA Park. Bus routes 627, 825, 824 and 823 stop at Moorabbin Station.
  • Pedestrian signage will be in place directing patrons between Moorabbin station and Moorabbin Reserve. To plan your journey please visit: https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/journey
  • Please note: buses will be replacing trains between Moorabbin, Frankston and Stony Point from Sunday 2 February – Sunday 16 February.

Where can patrons park?

  • Limited street parking is available. For patrons that drive to the game, there’s plenty of parking options just a short walk away from RSEA park. St Kilda to insert list of locations and map.


What time will patrons be arriving to RSEA Park?

  • Gates will open an hour prior to the game start time for the AFLW matches.
  • Gates will open an hour and a half prior to the game start time for the Marsh Community Series

 What time will patrons be leaving RSEA Park?

  • AFLW matches will conclude an hour and 45 minutes after the first bounce. Patrons will be able to remain inside the venue for an additional 30 minutes before being asked to leave.
  • Marsh Community Series Matches will conclude roughly two and a half hours after the first bounce. Patrons will be able to remain inside the venue for an additional 30 minutes before being asked to leave.

 What activities will be taking place during the games?

  • Food truck alley
  • Face painting and Photo Booth with AVJennings
  • Zooper Dooper’s giant water slide
  • Maccas Kick To Kick
  • Inflatable Stunt Jump
  • Kids Zone with inflatable footy activities

 How much of the precinct will be used during the games?

  • The main oval and the secondary field between the car park and the Lawn Bowls Club will be utilised on game days.

 Does it cost money to attend the games?

  • AFLW Games are free entry for 2020.
  • The Marsh Community Series is a fully ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased online prior to the game or at the gate on game day. Participating Club Members will have access to the game for free (unless the event is deemed fully ticketed) and will be required to bring their membership card with them.

 How many people are you expecting to attend?

  • Each game will have a different crowd expectancy, but we’d be looking at anywhere between 3,000 to 8,000 per game.

 Will the reception area (including the café and shop) be available to general public on game days?

  • If patrons are wanting to access areas of the building on the day of a game, they will need to go through security and bag checks before entering. For AFLW Games a ticket won’t be required for entry however a ticket will be required for Marsh games.

ACCESS ON NON-GAME DAYS:

 Will the venue be fenced?

  • We will be fencing RSEA Park along Doonga Avenue, Linton Street and the end of the venue’s car park. The fencing will be locked on game days however there will be sections of the gates that will be open when there are no games being played. The temporary fencing will be erected on February 3 and be removed once the AFLW season is completed.

 Will I still be able to walk my dog on the outside of the oval?

  • Dogs will not be allowed into the venue on game day. As usual residents are welcome to walk around the outside of the oval when there is no game on. The dog park itself will not be affected at all during the games.
