The versatile and experienced big man found his way to the Saints after being delisted by Essendon. Signed as forward and ruck cover who has added depth to St Kilda’s key-position stocks. McKernan’s contested marking and accurate kicking make him a strong forward option and he can also pinch-hit in the ruck. Kicked five goals in nine games in his final season at the Bombers.
