From the moment she set foot on the hallowed turf at RSEA Park, Georgia Patrikios caught the eye.
The historic day for St Kilda was punctuated by the smooth mover's class and composure, and she didn't slow down as the season progressed.
Patrikios' ball-winning capabilities, natural instinct to take the game on and wicked sidestep floored both opposition and spectators alike as she bolstered her league-wide standing and fast became a fan-favourite.
Her succession of influential performances culminated in a superb debut season for the Saints’ first draft pick, who was rewarded with the AFLPA’s Best First-Year Player award, a podium finish in the 2020 Nab Rising Star Award and selection into the AFLPA’s 22Under22 team and All-Australian squad.
Patrikios topped the Saints’ total disposals, metres gained and clearances, with her competitive spirit shining through on every occasion.
In August, the young Saint was a joint-winner of St Kilda's inaugural Best & Fairest alongside Olivia Vesely, Rosie Dillon and Caitlin Greiser.
Now signed with the red, white and black for another two seasons, the future is shaping to be an exciting one with Patrikios in tow.
