With Caitlin Greiser coming off the back of an explosive debut season – which came complete with Best & Fairest, AFLW goalkicking and All-Australian – opposition defences quickly took notice.
Often double-teamed by rival backlines, Greiser still managed to find herself on the end of a few multiple-goal outings throughout the year, putting through a season-best three goals against Geelong in Round 4.
While there were no miraculous, match-winning majors like last season, 'G-Train' jagged multiple goals against the Bulldogs, Blues and Eagles, proving her strength further up the ground in the latter with 16 touches, 10 marks and two goals.
The Best & Fairest's thumping kick at goal again earned her the club's goalkicking honours, despite being reined several times throughout the course of the season by far more experienced defenders.
Greiser joined St Kilda as a pre-list signing in 2019.
