St Kilda Football Club would like to thank and farewell foundation player Caitlin Greiser, with the 24-year-old continuing her career at Richmond.

The All-Australian made her debut in red, white and black in the Saints’ inaugural AFLW match, going on to play a total of 34 games for the club.

“Caitlin has been a fan-favourite since walking through our doors,” Head of AFLW Tessie McManus said.

“Her booming right foot and ability to change the momentum of a game is a credit to her playing style.

“We wish Caitlin all the best for this next chapter of her career.”

Greiser’s departure follows the trades of Kate Shierlaw to North Melbourne and Tarni White to Collingwood, both of which were involved in a three-way trade between the Saints, Roos and Magpies to bring Steph Chiocci and Jaimee Lambert to RSEA Park.

The 2023 AFLW Sign and Trade Period opened on Friday and closes at 3pm on Monday 20 March.
