St Kilda Football Club intends to add experienced forward Jake Stringer to its playing list ahead of the 2027 season.

The Club and Stringer have agreed to contractual terms, with the proven goal-kicker set to be formally added to the Club’s playing list when the AFL’s Delisted Free Agency Period opens on 2 November

St Kilda General Manager of Football Lenny Hayes said Stringer would provide another attacking option and valuable depth.

“Jake has a proven ability to hit the scoreboard and we believe he can add another dimension to our forward line,” Hayes said.

“Jake's experience and goal kicking ability will complement the talent we already have while giving us greater flexibility and depth in attack.”

Stringer kicked 48 goals and registered more than 90 scoring shots for GWS during the 2026 season.
