Rosie Dillon is a staunch advocate for sliding under the radar and avoiding the spotlight, however her importance to St Kilda’s midfield fabric can’t be ignored.

The joint Best & Fairest winner in the Saints’ inaugural year backed up her on-ball credentials in 2021 despite battling through an ankle injury, sitting in the top-three for her side’s tackles and clearances numbers by season’s end.

Tenacious through her inside work and uncompromising in her physicality, the 153cm midfielder has taken impressive strides since dramatically improving her fitness prior to being drafted.

Dillon is a number of Saints to have come from Hawthorn’s VFL side, including fellow Hawks Best & Fairest Jayde Van Dyk and coaches Paddy Hill and Dave Carden.

Ahead of the 2022 NAB AFLW Season, Dillon was inducted into the Saints' newly formed Emerging Leaders Group alongside Tarni White and Nicola Xenos.

Occupation: Animal Attendant at Moorabbin Veterinary Hospital, Student of Certificate IV Vet Nursing at ProVET
