The Under-15 Diversity Squad is designed to provide young footballers from First Nations and multicultural backgrounds across the south with a platform to showcase their skills and talent under the watchful eyes of AFL scouts, with the intentions of transitioning into mainstream talent pathways.

The diversity squad is the bridging program to St Kilda's NGA and Elite academy, where participants gain access to the elite AFL program resources and coaching for their development.

Additionally, this program exposes participants to the wider AFL State and National Diversity Programs.

Criteria for eligibility (either of the below):

• Player is born overseas in an African or Asia country or a non-English speaking country
• At least one parent born in an African or Asian country
• Two parents born in a non-English speaking country (e.g. Sweden)
