Hugo Garcia

27 disposals, 14 clearances, 12 tackles

Was given a role on Tom Mitchell after a tough start for the midfield in the first quarter and did it really well while also getting his own footy and making a big impact on the game offensively.

Hugh Boxshall

20 disposals, eight tackles, seven marks, one goal

Had a slow start but worked into the game really well. We’ve seen a lot of improvement in his running patterns and when to go for the footy or hold width which has been a good step forward.

Zak Jones

27 disposals, six tackles, six clearances, six inside 50s

A really well-balanced game from Zak both in the contest and on the outside. Played a bit forward for us and helped to come up and support the stoppage which was impactful on the game.

Jack Carroll

20 disposals, nine marks, four tackles

Played on the wing which he hasn’t played much of but said he really enjoyed it. Showed really good progress to add another string to his bow and demonstrated he can play that outside role as well as inside.

Arie Schoenmaker

23 disposals, seven marks, three inside 50s

Continues to have good impact with ball in hand while he develops his defensive capabilities. Beginning to show that consistency and bridge that gap between his best and worst which we see improving every week.

Angus Hastie

15 disposals, six tackles, one goal

Had a slower start as part of the defensive unit but did well to work his way into the game. Got himself a goal from half back and then impacted the game defensively with his strong work rate to work back continuously and finish off the game well.

Harry Boyd

20 disposals, 25 hitouts, 11 clearances

Had a good battle with Mason Cox which meant he was undersized but fought really hard all day. He had great success around stoppage both providing use to our midfielders but also working hard on the ground and following up.

Liam O'Connell

12 disposals, six marks, five intercepts

A really solid game from Liam as he works hard on his ability to impact the game offensively. Had some big moments where he saved the team from the opposition’s run and carry which highlights his defensive strengths.

Liam Henry

14 disposals, three inside 50s, two goals

We continue to see improvements from Liam particularly in his running patterns which he probably didn’t get rewarded for often enough. He’s working hard on improving that part of his game still and his workrate.

Angus McLennan

15 disposals, 10 marks, seven intercepts

A solid game as a defender, impacting in the air and across the ground. Forced a number of turnovers in our front half with his ability to squeeze the ground and set up well behind the ball.

Alex Dodson

17 disposals, six hitouts, four clearances

Had a good game with more exposure in the ruck than he has previously. Was able to get good exposure against an experienced AFL ruck and developing his ability as a forward with his patterns and impact in the air.

James Barrat

12 disposals, four marks, four intercepts

He’s continuously improving at this level and showing good progress. His ball use has been a big step up as he focuses on his strengths with a long penetrating kick and remains working on his defensive craft.

Lance Collard

14 disposals, two contested marks, one goal

Played on the wing which was a different role than he has played before and showed some really good signs as he impacted offensively and held his opposition wing accountable. It was good to get him up the ground and free him up.

Paddy Dow

Nine disposals, two inside 50s, one goal

Great to see him back out there after a really difficult period. Started a bit slower as you’d expect yet worked himself into the game. Only played reduced minutes to ease him back in while still showing his class.

Patrick Said

10 disposals, four marks, three inside 50s

Played a solid game in the forward line where we were pleased with his running patterns and getting to the right spot. Showing continued progress with his pressure and front and square work.
