St Kilda has named its extended squad ahead of Sunday's match against Essendon at Windy Hill.

The Saints will make at least two changes to take on the Bombers in the hopes of capturing their second win of the season.

Ella Friend will miss after entering concussion protocols, while Zoe Besanko has been omitted.

Nicola Stevens has been named on the field in the extended squad in her bid to return to action.

The final team will be announced at 5:00pm AEST on Friday.

The game will be played at 1:05pm AEST on Sunday, and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.
