St Kilda’s AFLW program has made further changes to its list ahead of the 2025 National Draft with Arianna Clarke and Lilu Hung informed they will not be offered a contract in 2026.

Signing on the eve of the 2025 season, Clarke was provided the opportunity to reignite her AFLW career after proving herself as a train-on player through VFLW affiliate Sandringham.

Making her club debut for the Saints in Round 1, the former Lion went on to play seven games this season, executing an important role through the squad’s long-term injury woes to assist the team in achieving their maiden finals berth.

Hung arrived at the Saints as injury replacement for ruck Emmelie Fiedler, who was moved to the inactive list following a pre-season ACL injury. Despite not getting the call up to senior level at her time with the club, Hung brought a great level of skill, tenacity and positivity to her time at RSEA Park.

“We could not have asked for more from Ari and Lilu’s time at the Saints,” GM AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.

“Coming into an elite sporting environment on the eve of the season is never an easy feat.

“Both players fitted in seamlessly, giving unwavering effort and optimism to the program during their time in the red, white and black.

“We thank them for everything they gave to the club this season and wish Ari and Lilu all the best for the future, both on and off the footy field.”

The Saints currently hold pick 24, 31, 42 and 87 heading into the Telstra AFL Draft this Monday, 15 December.
