Jack Silvagni will continue to be assessed throughout the remainder of the week before a final decision is made on his availability for Sunday night's clash with Carlton.
Silvagni consulted with a specialist after dislocating his right shoulder in the final quarter of last weekend's match against Sydney and remains a chance to play this week.
"We will continue to closely monitor Jack throughout the week to assess the level of function within his shoulder and ultimately, how he's feeling," General Manager of Football Lenny Hayes said.
"In good news, Cooper Sharman is set to train later this week after spending the past fortnight on the sidelines. Provided Cooper completes training, we expect him to put his hand up for selection."
While James Barrat continues to make good progress from his foot injury, the club has this week made the decision to formally rule him out for the season.
