Young gun Jade Gresham has scored a perfect 10 in the AFL Coaches Association Round 2 voting.

Gresham’s mercurial 25-disposal, two-goal display was judged the standout performance in the Saints’ win over the Bombers at Marvel Stadium.

In what Alan Richardson described as “his most complete” game, the No. 4 was awarded the maximum five votes from both coaches.

Two crucial goals – the second to ice the game deep in the final quarter – were pivotal, but it was his tireless work in the middle that set him apart.

With a team-high 505 metres gained and several goal assists, Gresham was every bit the midfielder the Saints had craved to support experienced stalwarts Seb Ross and Jack Steven.

Jimmy Webster was next in line with five votes after playing a critical role off half-back, while the ever-consistent Seb Ross picked up four votes.

Jack Sinclair proved the game-breaker with a contested mark and goal in the final term, but it was his consistency across four quarters that saw him collect three votes.

Jarryn Geary was the final Saint in the votes, scoring two for his diligent shut-down job on Devon Smith.
