Jack Higgins looks set to put his hand up to return following successful rehabilitation of his knee over the past month.
The star small forward will need to get through main training this week to make himself available for selection against the Dogs on Sunday afternoon.
Similarly, rookie Kye Fincher is also a test after recovering from a foot injury and will also need to successfully complete main training.
Alex Dodson has been named a test to play this week after suffering a low grade adductor injury in the VFL side’s clash with North Melbourne on Sunday.
Max King will enter a conditioning block after completing rehabilitation on his hamstring, with a timeline for return to play set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
“Max recently spent some time on the Gold Coast working through an intensive rehabilitation block, where he’s attacked every stage of the program with great diligence,” General Manager - Football Lenny Hayes said.
“Max has ticked all the boxes throughout his rehab and the next step is to transition him into a conditioning block as he builds towards a return to play.
“We’re not going to rush him through this phase. This is about taking a long-term approach with Max and ensuring we set him up for success when he does return.”
Hunter Clark will look to integrate into main group skills at training this week, while Sam Flanders has been given the all clear to increase his early stage Achilles rehabilitation program.
