GEELONG'S 27-point win over St Kilda has been soured by a potentially serious injury to Max Holmes.
The Cats star left the field in agony in the last quarter after appearing to hurt his lower leg.
Shaun Mannagh also finished the game on the bench after hurting his hamstring in another concern for the Cats.
They were the only low points of the 15.12 (102) to 11.9 (75) victory, which helped the Cats bounce back to form.
Gryan Miers returned to the senior side and booted three goals in a strong team performance from Chris Scott's side.
