Darcy Wilson has put pen to paper, with one of St Kilda’s most exciting young talents inking a new contract with club until the end of 2028.

Drafted with pick No. 18 in the 2023 AFL Draft, the 20-year-old has enjoyed an impressive start to his career, going from strength to strength across his first three seasons in the red, white and black.

Producing a dream debut season in 2024, Wilson earned the club's Best Emerging Player award, as well as finishing fourth in the AFL Rising Star Award voting. He followed it up with another 18 games in 2025, including a stunning five-goal outing against the Giants in Round 24.

This year, the Wangaratta product has continued to take his game to another level, showing why he's regarded as a key part of St Kilda's next generation midfield brigade.

"We know Darcy is going to be a big part of where we're headed as a football club, so we're really pleased to have him sign on with the club," General Manager of Football Lenny Hayes said.

"He's an incredibly driven athlete who loves competing and getting the best out of himself every day. That's exactly the mindset you want to see in a young player.

Wilson said he was thrilled to re-sign at the Saints, as the side continues to build an exciting core of young talent.

"It's really exciting to be re-signing," Wilson said.
