A never before seen St Kilda clash guernsey will hit the park against the Blues tomorrow afternoon.
The predominantly white kit is emblazoned with a bold, black cross across the torso, with red upper quadrants and a black collar strip.
General Manager for Consumer, People and Performance Emmeline McIllree said the kit, the second from new apparel partner XBlades, is sure to set the Saints apart from the competition.
“The idea of a clash guernsey is to easily distinguish one team from another on-field and we think we’ve definitely achieved that through this design,” McIllree said.
“While we’ll always be red, white and black, it’s nice to have the opportunity to mix things up a little through a clash guernsey and we think our supporters are going to like this one.”
St Kilda 2017 clash guernseys will be available via the Saints Shop from late March, with members to be notified of their arrival.
