Georgia Patrikios has written her name into the record books for a second time after taking out the Round 1 Dare Sainter of the Round.

The 18-year-old turned heads in the best-on-ground display, notching up a game-high 18 disposals, five tackles and one historic goal assist in the Saints’ landmark debut.

Patrikios’ flair and freakish sidestep wowed the capacity crowd throughout the afternoon, with the pick No. 5 getting plenty of support over the fence.

“I got shivers when I was coming out,” Patrikios told saints.com.au.

“It was an unreal feeling and to play in front of that many people for the first time and was pretty special to do it in the Saints colours.”

Unsurprisingly, it was the Patrikios family who cheered loudest.

And they made sure their presence along the outer wing didn’t go unnoticed.

“I’m going to go big and say there were 50 of us there,” Patrikios said.

“When I was running around to thank everyone there was just so many of them.

“I’m so thankful for all of them coming out and hopefully we can go bigger next week.”

St Kilda will jet across to South Australia to face reigning Premiers, Adelaide, on Sunday 16 February at Hisense Stadium.
