AFL Playground
Don't forget to get down to the AFL Playground, Proudly Presented by Radiant. Located outside Gate 6 at the MCG on match days, it's a great, fun interactive zone for kids under 12 years old. There's plenty to do, including practicing your goal-kicking, taking a specky, face painting, giveaways and heaps more. It’s open from 90mins before the game through until the end of halftime - and it’s absolutely free!

Soldier On - St Kilda Football Club’s National Charity Partner
The St Kilda Football Club has formed a new charity partnership with Soldier On.

Soldier On is about Australians coming together to show their support for our physically and psychologically wounded; we will always have their backs.

They work to enhance recovery, inspire communities and empower Australia’s wounded servicemen and women, giving those who have served our country the dignity they deserve and the chance to do and be whatever they choose.

It is a partnership that the entire club - from the playing group to our staff and board - have embraced.

An important element of the partnership is to recognise a wounded ambassador at each game. Tonight’s ambassador is David Savage - David was attacked by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan in 2012. The bomber attacked as Mr Savage was with a group of soldiers and staff outside a bazaar in the Chora Valley, Uruzgan, where he was working with local communities on development activities. David’s career highlights include time as an Australian Federal Police officer, a UN peacekeeper and a member of the Australian Civilian Corps -showing his strong commitment to helping people in need.
