Lynch traded to Adelaide
A three-way trade has been completed that has seen Tom Lynch sent to Adelaide, Ivan Maric to Richmond, while St Kilda get a pick
A THREE-WAY trade between Richmond, Adelaide and St Kilda has been completed with Ivan Maric now a Tiger and Tom Lynch a Crow.
The Saints received NAB AFL Draft pick 37.
After playing only six senior games since being drafted by St Kilda with pick 13 in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft, Lynch's manager Paul Connors said Lynch was in need of a change.
"I'm grateful [to St Kilda for agreeing to trade Lynch] because I think he just mentally needs a fresh start," Connors told AFL.com.au's Trade Week Radio.
"[Crows coach] Brenton Sanderson has spoken to him, and that's been a breath of fresh air."
No trades are official until paperwork has been accepted by the AFL and formally recognised after 2pm on Monday, October 17.
