Doyle, who played for both St Kilda (1990) and Melbourne (1992-96) in the AFL, has extensive coaching experience having held development roles with the Oakleigh Chargers and Victorian Metro.
Greg become Assistant Coach of the Oakleigh Chargers U/18 in the TAC Cup (2005-2008), Assistant Coach Victorian Metro for AFL National Championships (2009-2010) and in 2011 took over the reins of the Oakleigh Chargers U/18s.
Doyle joins former Saints players, Aaron Hamill (offensive), Max Hudghton (defensive), Troy Schwarze (midfield) in Specialist coaching roles for 2012.
“Player development is a key focus for the Club and the appointment of someone with Greg’s experience will provide specific technical coaching for our young ruckmen,” explains St Kilda Senior Coach Scott Watters.
The appointment of Doyle completes St Kilda’s coaching roster for its 2012 AFL Program.
