Star forward Nicola Xenos has been placed on St Kilda’s inactive list ahead of the 2026 AFLW season.

The 25-year-old ruptured her ACL in the late stages of the Saints' 2025 campaign, undergoing surgery soon after.

“Nicola has shown incredible resilience throughout her recovery so far, and while it’s been a challenging period, her health and return to full fitness remains the priority,” GM AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.

“She’s progressing well in her rehabilitation, and has the full support of the club as she works towards a return to play.”

The Saints will now carry one remaining list spot into the upcoming AFLW mid-season draft on May 4.
