St Kilda produced a complete team performance to commemorate club stalwart Lenny Hayes’ 250th game, in the Saints 28-point victory against the Sydney Swans at Etihad Stadium in Round nine.  Midfielder Farren Ray also marked his 150th AFL game milestone, while Jimmy Gwilt was a welcome return to the backline after his 10-month injury stint.

The Saints topped the disposals, with David Armitage collecting 29 for the match while the small-forward trio of Milne, Milera and Saad booted six goals collectively.  Jarryn Geary emerged the only casualty of the match with a cut head.
