Midfield pair Zak Jones and Ryan Byrnes will spend time on the sidelines recovering from respective hamstring injuries.

Jones sustained a left hamstring strain and has commenced his rehabilitation program with the aim of being available for the commencement of the season. 

Byrnes, meanwhile, will be out of action for at least eight weeks.

The 19-year-old – who recently penned a one-year contract extension with the club – will require surgery on his injured right hamstring after an incident at training late last week.

In other injury news, co-captain Jarryn Geary is recovering well from his fractured leg and is on track to return to running in five to six weeks.
