The fans have spoken, and as voted by you, Jack Billings is this week’s Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.

Billings was instrumental in St Kilda’s 27-point turnaround against Gold Coast, collecting 25 touches, seven rebound-50s and two tide-turning goals as his side secured a gritty win on the road.

The No. 15 slammed home the opening major of the final term to give his side a sniff, sparking the Saints on towards an unanswered four-goal burst to overtake the Suns.

He also managed to bring down 13 marks, equalling his career-high.

Billings has enjoyed standout outings against Gold Coast in recent years, averaging 28 disposals in his past five appearances.

Jack Steele grabbed the two votes, rolling up the sleeves to end his afternoon with 27 disposals, eight tackles and two goals.

The skipper’s outstanding snap in the second term netted St Kilda’s first major score of the game, while his follow-up effort in the third was just as important in staving off the Suns’ momentum.

Steele was well-supported in the middle by Billings, Zak Jones (31 disposals) and Brad Crouch (30 disposals, one goal), who led the charge in the fourth.

Paddy Ryder picks up the final vote of the game, with his influence in the ruck (27 hit-outs, 11 disposals, one goal) steering St Kilda towards its fourth win of the season.

His performance continues a solid run of form since the ruckman returned last week, as the partnership with Rowan Marshall continues to pay dividends for Brett Ratten.

Ryder’s highlight came late in the game, with his crafty crumb and snap – a feature normally reserved for small forwards – putting the Saints in front late in the contest.
