The dynamics have changed inside the households of two St Kilda backmen since the end of last season.
Key defender Nathan Brown and rebounding half-back Shane Savage have both welcomed daughters in recent months, growing their family from one child to two, shifting the dynamics in the process.
Brown, 29, and his wife, Liana, added another girl to their growing family in December, providing daughter Billie with a little sister, Farah.
“We had another girl, Farah,” Brown told saints.com.au at St Kilda’s pre-season camp at Geelong Grammar last week.
“She came on the 1st of December, so we just keep adding girls

Days after St Kilda’s season finished in August, Savage and his wife, Sarah, brought Willow into the world, ensuring the dashing defender’s off-season was significantly different to almost all of his teammates.
“It’s been amazing. I love being a Dad,” Savage said.
“Every time I get home they just make me so happy and make me switch off from footy. I love playing around with them.”
Not to miss out on the party, St Kilda skipper Jarryn Geary and his fiancée, Emma, had their first child earlier this month.
