Sinclair dug the heels in as the Dogs’ onslaught intensified, helping drive his side out of defence in his new role across half-back.

Two votes go to five-gamer Ryan Byrnes, who battled tirelessly against the rampant Bulldogs. in just his fifth senior game.

The 20-year-old midfielder collected 24 disposals (nine contested) and 12 marks as he attempted to try to drag his side back into the contest.

Byrnes is currently averaging 18 disposals per game and has twice led St Kilda for marks in-game.

The final vote was given to Jack Steele, who once again stood tall in the face of adversity.

The skipper racked up 25 disposals, as well as 14 contested possessions, seven inside 50s and five tackles.

Since taking on the co-captaincy, the Steele is averaging over 27 disposals per game and seven tackles per game.
