Carys D’Addario will become the latest Saint to earn her AFLW opportunity as Euro-Yroke returns to RSEA Park for the first time this season on Saturday.

The West Australian midfielder, pronounced ka-riss duh-dair-ee-oh, has impressed since arriving at Moorabbin with her craft around the contest and ability to get the ball moving forward.

Selected by the Saints with pick No. 61 in the 2025 AFLW National Draft out of Swan Districts, the 19 year-old bounced back from an injury-interrupted bottom-age season to put together a standout 2025 campaign, winning WA’s U18 MVP and securing a top-10 finish in the Dhara Kerr Medal for the WAFLW Best and Fairest.

“We’re very proud to see Carys make her AFLW debut this weekend,” General Manager AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.

“Her eagerness to learn and improve, along with the skill she’s shown on the track, has been really impressive.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming her family to RSEA Park and seeing her run out in the red, white and black for the first time.”

The No. 8 will become the fifth Saint to make her AFLW debut this season, following Abby Hobson in Round 1, Saoirse Lally in Round 2 and Maya Louvel-Finn and Jade McLay in Round 3.

Saturday will mark the Saints’ first game in front of their home fans at RSEA Park this season, having opened their home campaign against Carlton at Marvel Stadium in Round 1.

The Saints will take on reigning premiers North Melbourne in the second week of Indigenous Round, with adult tickets just $15 and kids aged 14 and under FREE. Get down and support the Saints, with tickets available via Ticketmaster.
