St Kilda has made five changes ahead of its match against North Melbourne for the opening week of Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

Debutant Oscar Clavarino will join recalled Saints Nick CoffieldLuke Dunstan and Mason Wood on Saturday afternoon, while last week's unused medical seb Tom Highmore has been listed in the starting line-up.

Clavarino will play his first game in front of an empty stadium following the Victorian Government's announcement of a seven-day lockdown beginning from midnight tonight.

Hunter Clark (groin), James Frawley (shoulder) and Shaun McKernan (toe) have been forced out of the side alongside omitted duo Jack Bytel and Jack Lonie.

Lonie, Bytel, Ben Long and Paul Hunter have been selected as emergencies.

Saturday afternoon will mark Seb Ross' 150th senior game.

St Kilda is scheduled to play North Melbourne on Saturday 29 May at Marvel Stadium, with the opening bounce due for 4:35pm.
