The fans have spoken, and as voted by you, Max King is this week’s Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.

An influential performance by the No. 12 this week saw him earn 87 percent of the fan’s vote for Round 19.

King’s dominance in the air and ability to convert kept his team in the contest throughout the close encounter with the Eagles on Saturday afternoon.

A total game haul of six goals and eight contested marks saw King become the first player under 50 games to register such stats since 1999.

The 21-year-old was unmatched inside the arc, registering three shots on goal in the third quarter alone to help ignite the Saints’ spark.

His efforts saw him (literally) sky-rocket up the list to sit fifth for most contested marks inside-50 across the league so far this season (42), the highest of any Saint.

King received a perfect ten coaches votes for his performance.

Two votes go to Zak Jones, who paved the way for the midfield group with 32 disposals (13 contested) at over 84 percent efficiency.

Jones looked dangerous whenever near the ball, getting to work as he created space with seven clearances and a game-high 604 metres gained.

He was thrilling in attack with eight inside-50s alongside small forwards Dan Butler (11 score involvements) and Dean Kent (six inside-50s).

Jack Steele rounds out this week’s voting following his impressive performance on the inside.

The Skipper finished his day with a game-high 13 tackles, 18 disposals and five clearances.
