St Kilda captain Jarryn Geary believes the Saints can join North Melbourne in making Good Friday their own.

Speaking from a joint press conference alongside Kangaroos captain Jack Ziebell, Geary said the teams would work together to make the marquee match a success.

"We're rapt to be part of the day,” Geary said.

“Hopefully going forward, it's something that us and North can do for a number of years.”

The blockbuster clash will see both clubs join forces to support the Good Friday Appeal, raising money for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

“Working together, we’ll do a number of things throughout the week to create a really good atmosphere and make the game good place to be on Friday,” he said.

“We hope lots of North and Saints fans can get along, chip in and donate some money to a really good cause.”
